Biodiversity Seminar Series ¶

Every semester the Biodiversity Center organizes the Biodiversity Seminar Series where we invite scientists and practitioners–from natural and social science disciplines– to present their work and share new findings with the WSL biodiversity community.

The goal is to raise awareness for hot topics in research and application, while fostering interaction and collaboration within WSL and with external scientists or stakeholders. 

The Biodiversity Seminars are public and held every other Wednesday at WSL Birmensdorf (in-person and online). You can find the current program here or visit WSL’s Workshops and Seminars YouTube Channel to watch our past seminar recordings.

The Biodiversity Center aims to host a wide range of speakers from different disciplinary backgrounds and perspectives.  If you are a WSL member and are interested in sharing your research or inviting an external speaker, please contact us at events-biodiversity(at)wsl.ch.
