Innovation workshops and working groups ¶
The WSL Biodiversity Center supports workshops and working groups that establish, emphasize, or further develop in-house networking and collaboration. We offer financial, administrative and logistics support, and in some cases additional data analysis or management, to WSL members working on biodiversity research and outreach.
Innovation workshops and working groups ¶
Workshops can range from discussing basic research questions to creating tangible outreach, to writing a grant proposal or simply bringing people on a certain topic together to exchange ideas. The workshops can also be repeated to facilitate longer term working groups on particular topics. These workshops and working groups primarily target WSL employees but can also involve some external collaborators.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Proposal evaluation and decisions about implementation are carried out by the Steering Committee.
For more information about the benefits and requirements please contact us at events-biodiversity(at)wsl.ch.

Past workshops and working groups ¶
Recent workshops have included an environmental DNA event series in collaboration with Eawag, a spatial autocorrelation workshop, and workshops in computer vision in ecology and evolution.
